* Second son of Rev. Jas. Pitt; baptized at Taynton, Oxon, 30 Aug. 1759; Fellow of Oriel College, Oxon, Rector of Brimpsfield and Cranham; married his cousin Mary, only child of John Pitt, M.P. for Gloucester; died 6 March 1806, buried in Gloucester Cathedral.
+ Mr. Robert Smith lived in 1799 at the hamlet of Paradise, and was probably s. of Mr. Thos. Smith (1741), bailiff to Sir Wm. Jerningham at the Lodge.
# Wm. Pitt, esq., eldest son of Rev. Jas. Pitt; baptised at Taynton, Oxon, 7 Jan. 1752; married Sarah Smith. Their son James died 1798, aged 17. Their daughter Harriet married Wm. Goodrich, esq., of Energlyn, Glamorgan, and afterwards of Maisemore, who died in 1845.
